Hardware-wise, the Brocade DL-5120-0003 runs on a powerful Cavium CN5010 processor with an impressive 18GHz CPU frequency, enabling it to process data up to 34 Million packets per second. It also has 96GB RAM and 64GB on-board Flash memory, providing plenty of memory and storage capacity. The switch comes with 24 built-in Gigabit Ethernet ports, two 10Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports, two 40Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports, two 10GBase-X InfiniBand uplink ports, and two 100Gbase-SR4 ports for high speed connections. Additionally, it supports a range of line rate speeds such as 2.5Gbps, 10Gbps, 11ac 2x2 MU MIMO Wifi AP, and 54Mbps in 802.11n mode. Furthermore, the Brocade DL-5120-0003 offers advanced networking technologies such as Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing as well as an integrated software platform called EXOS which provides users with advanced security features, virtual LANs (VLANs), static routing capabilities , Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities and other customizable options. In addition, the switch is equipped with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology which provides up to 30W power per port allowing deployment of PoE powered devices such as VoIP Handsets, wireless access points and IP phones. Finally, the Brocade DL-5120-0003 comes with advanced system management features such as mirrored ports for port mirroring, intelligent resiliency for link redundancy monitoring and for increased server availability as well as support for SNMP v1/v2c/v3 protocol traps which allows administrators to be alerted when certain events occur within a network.
