The Dell S6000 Network Switch is designed for small- and medium-sized businesses that need flexibility, performance, and scalability for business growth. This switch offers a full suite of Layer 2, Layer 3, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) features to allow customers to create a reliable, secure, and efficient network. The switch features 48 10/100/1000BASE-T/1000BASE-X ports, as well as one 10GBase-T port and two 10GBase-SR ports for optical fiber connectivity. The ports are auto-sensing 802.3af/at PoE capable of providing up to 30W per port with a total PoE budget of 370W. This allows easy deployment of VoIP and wireless access points without the need for additional power cables. The S6000 supports industry leading Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching capabilities including Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), and Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP). It also provides advanced security and QoS features to meet evolving customer needs for improved network performance and reliability. In addition, the S6000 switch provides an array of management tools enabling customers to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot their network from a single dashboard. The user friendly WebUI, CLI access, SNMP support, logs and traps make the switch easy to operate and maintain. At the same time, the availability of Dell Networking OS upgrades helps ensure your network stays up to date with the latest features and latest standards.
