The S4810P-AC-R is built on the proven and reliable Force10 Operating System (FTOS). It provides a powerful network architecture that supports 802.3af/at PoE with fast recovery times. The switch includes up to 48 10/100/1000BaseT ports, 4 1 GbE SFP ports, and 4 optional 10 GbE SFP+ ports, while delivering a non blocking, wire speed throughput of 1.92 Terabits per second (Tbps). Furthermore, the S4810P-AC-R comes equipped with 2 expansion slots that support a variety of options, including additional 10 GbE uplinks and switching capacity. It also supports resilient stacking, allowing for up to 8 switches to be configured as a single logical device, resulting in significant expansion potential. Additionally, the S4810P-AC-R’s stackable design is great for those looking to scale their network in the future without having to replace their existing infrastructure. In terms of power, this switch is capable of providing up to 20W per port when running in full PoE+ mode and up to 60W per device when stacked.
