The Brocade DL-320-0005 is a purpose-built storage server designed to maximize IT efficiency, flexibility and scalability. This server is designed for reliability, boasting the latest technologies to help meet the demands of your data centre environment. With high performance processors, advanced memory and powerful storage solutions, this server can handle virtually any workload. The Brocade DL-320-0005 comes with a 2U form factor and dual-socket Intel® Xeon® E5-2600v3 processor with eighteen cores, provides a reliable ten year CPU lifecycle. The high performance processor allows you to run multiple applications on the same server and delivers up to 20x compute performance over comparable 1-socket servers with 16 cores. With up to 512GB of DDR 4 memory, you can run high memory demanding tasks with ease. In terms of storage, the Brocade DL-320-0005 has up to eight large form factor (LFF) hard disk drives or sixteen small form factor (SFF) disk drives that can be configured in RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 setup providing an entry storage capacity of up to 144TB when 8 TB drives are used. The short depth chassis allows efficient air flow so you’ll enjoy maximum cooling off your hard disks and other components inside the case. Reliability and security are also important features in this server; the Brocade DL-320-0005 comes with advanced data protection technologies such as RAID 6 (ADG), 5TB hot spare, online capacity expansion and supports 8Gbps Fibre Channel and SAS cards providing excellent protection from disk failure. In addition, the new BrocadeDL infrastructure reduces downtime by using an advanced NL4/4S/4P controller for maximum server performance as well as reducing power and cooling costs up to 39%. Overall, the Brocade DL-320-0005 offers superior reliability and performance with its high power processors and large storage capacity.
